Getting to Lausanne:


  1. By Plane

Genève-Cointrin is the nearest airport (40-60 minutes) to Lausanne. You can also travel from Zürich Airport which is approximately 2h 30 far away. From these airports, you can take a train to Lausanne.


  1. By Train

Lausanne is served by the Swiss Federal Rail system. Trains run frequently to and from Geneva, Zurich, Berne, Neuchatel, St. Gallen, and Brig. There are also daily trains from Paris Gare de Lyon via SNCF’s TGV and from Milan by the Swiss-Italian Cisalpino. You can get further information from Italian Railways and German Railways about trains to and from Switzerland.

























Getting to the Conference Site:


The conference will be hosted in the Rolex Learning Center which is located on the EPFL campus. Line M1 of the TL (Transports Lausannois) takes you from the centre of Lausanne (Flon) or from Renens station to EPFL. The 58 (Morges) and 33 (Ecublens, Renens, Prilly) bus routes serve the area west of Lausanne. You can get information about the metro timetable from this link and further details from the website of TL. Once on the campus, you can use the orientation tool to locate the conference site.
